You are right, there is so much injustice that occurs in our lives, and if we change our focus from self to the lesson involved, given by God, it will make a difference in our walk. There IS joy in the journey, but that joy is so often a choice!
My heart has been lifted by you today, thank you.
:-}pokeyPokeyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12546013812822816960noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-519483362736569173.post-11594901279679518812011-03-11T06:55:36.605-08:002011-03-11T06:55:36.605-08:00Wow... it's amazing that our anger and frustra...Wow... it's amazing that our anger and frustration can be turned into humility - I'm so thankful we have Jesus to look to for our example, and not the rest of the world! I'm so sorry you and the car were hit - yet am so glad you were able to look at those beloved nails/spikes to be reminded of His love for us.

I've had my own encounters with anger and injustice lately... and it takes so much life out of us. When we come back to Jesus, he brings us back to his abundant life. Not easy, but an abundance of peace and joy - and I think that might just be better than what justice can give...

Love you so much dear friend!Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11966108031067710273noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-519483362736569173.post-88578182106233825212011-03-10T19:48:05.167-08:002011-03-10T19:48:05.167-08:00Thank you for posting this! I hate it that you we...Thank you for posting this! I hate it that you were hit, but your right, it's nothing in comparison. To think that He would so freely give His life for me. It hit me the other day how Pilate said he found no fault in Him. Of course I knew there was no fault, and of course I had read that so many times, but it just really hit me. Pilate could find no fault in him. It just kept rolling over and over in my mind. I tried to imagine the look on Pilate's face when he said that.
Even last night I was just laying there in the bed staring at the ceiling, and my mind started rolling some things over and over in my head, and I could feel that bitterness creeping up on me. & that's when He started speaking to me as only He can. That rebuke and that reproof that I needed, but at the same time that comfort. He sure is good.
Thank you again for sharing this!
-Many SmilesAshleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03894887698822750393noreply@blogger.com
