The mittens for today are just a bit different from the others. I wanted to try out a bit different material for the outside. Instead of using a felted wool, I used a lighter garment wool in a red and white checked. I does not have as much give as felted wool and is not as thick. However the lining is a soft polka dot fleece. that helps with warmth. The appliqued blooms are made with felted wool. These are for a teen to women.
