  1. Adorable fabrics! Not a very original idea, but I would use them for my first quilt. I'm planning on making one for my bed. =)

  2. I've thought about making simple quilts or blankets out of linens like this to send to Haiti. Can't wait to hear who wins!

  3. Is it wrong for me to say that I'd simply display them in a beautiful white basket for all to see? Okay, if I had the courage to cut them up, I'd most likely make them into a vintage picnic quilt, and maybe a cute Itouch holder for myself. ;-)
Thanks for the giveaway. It's good to 'see' you back and blogging again!

  9. Amanda~I don't know of any organizations that are collecting blankets, but I do have connections :) A girl that I grew up with at church works for an organization that has an orphanage in the Dominican Republic. In fact, her and her husband moved back to the states about a year ago from there. They were house parents in the orphanage and her husband and several other men have already made a supply run down there. They are planning another with the church they attend. Maybe we should start something?!?
