A FeW nEw HaTs fOr tHe WeE oNeS...

Worked on a few new fall hats for the wee ones. I used a simple tree design and used a stippling foot to applique them.
Here is one especially for the little ladies. A wee little patch of blooms have been added the the hat. Same here, I used a stippling foot to attach them.
This hat was made from a cashmere sweater and a felted wool star.
I will throw this one in too-it isn't a hat, but I just finished these for the shop as well. They are baby mitts-thumbless. Made completely from recycled materials.

Little Blooms-Upcycled Wool Mittens

Well, I did end up skipping a day in my "pair of mittens a day" goal. But I do have a few new pairs that I was able to finish this morning. I took a break from making the adult and teen sizes and focused a bit on the wee ones instead.

This pair was made for a younger child, best for 5-8 year olds approx. They are lined in a warm red fleece.

And then I worked on a pair of infant mitts. These do not have the thumb, making them easy to slip on and off of your wee one. They are best for 3-12 months. They are lined in a soft jersey knit.
